What is Dylan Day?
Wednesday is Dylan Day, a Westlake tradition. If you don't know about the tradition, or if you don't know much about Bob Dylan, here are a few links. You'll have more fun if you know what's going on!
Last Week of Classes
Speech grades (for the presentation and for the written speech) are now in Skyward, and you can log in to turnitin.com to see my feedback to you. Open up your speech, and you'll see tags over the text; each tag has specific feedback. You will also see your rubric score, which determines your grade.
If you would like to revise your speech, please work on it this week (I'm available to help!) and resubmit it to the "Revision: Final TED Speech" assignment on Turnitin.com by Friday.
I have decided to offer one opportunity to retake the vocabulary test. This will be on Thursday after school in my classroom.
Please remember that no work will be accepted after Friday, May 20.
Six Weeks' Vocab Test
Our Six Weeks' Vocab Test is on Thursday 5/12. We have ISR scheduled for Friday, 5/13. I know that many students will be out on Thursday or Friday due to History AP exams, so you may choose whether you want to take the vocab test Thursday or Friday.
